Armenia to quit free trade zone talks with EU

Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said on Twitter yesterday that Armenia was planning to quit negotiations about formation of a free trade zone with the EU, RIA Novosti reports.

The minister called Armenia’s integration with Russia a “180-degree turn”.

Yesterday, presidents of Russia and Armenia announced plans of the latter to join the Customs Union.
