TANAP to connect Caspian and Adriatic Seas

Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said that the TANAP Gas Pipeline will become the energy corridor between the Caspian and Adriatic Seas, Trend reports.

Azerbaijan has invested 17 billion liras in realization of TANAP and other projects in Turkey. The latter plans to continue realization of energy projects in Iraq.

TANAP will have a capacity of 16 billion cubic meters of gas to transport Shah Deniz gas to Europe through Turkey. About 6 billion cubic meters of the gas will be consumed by Turkey.
