Expert calls for promotion of inter-ethnic peace

Member of the Russian Public Chamber Sergey Markov believes the federal government and mass media should promote inter-ethnic peace in Russia. It's very important to promote the cultures of the various peoples of Russia, he says.

It's especially important in Moscow, where there are a lot of different ethnic communities, Markov believes.

He also called for further economic development of the North Caucasus. Markov says the government should create new jobs. He also says the most effective way to do that is to encourage agricultural growth.
