Golikova introduced as candidate to head Audit Chamber

Russian President Vladimir Putin has introduced his assistant Tatyana Golikova as the head of the Audit Chamber, RIA novosti reports.

She was a candidate earlier, introduced by the lower chamber of parliament.  Sergey Stepashin, head of the Audit Chamber, and Andrey Makarov, head of the parliamentary committee for budget and taxes, were the other two candidates.
