Russia gets 68th position in World Happiness Report
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussia is on the 68th position, together with Angola, Albania and Belarus, in the World Happiness Report organized by the UN, RIA Novosti reports.
Russia improved its last year’s rating by 8 points. Mauritania and Northern Cyprus have the same rating.
Denmark and Norway top the rating. Switzerland lost its third position to Finland and became 7th. Netherlands and Sweden are among the top 5.
Togo, Benin and the Central African Republic are at the bottom of the rating.
The rating was based on the GDP per capita, level of trust in society, life expectancy, freedom of choice, level of corruption and generosity. The studies were based on interviews made by the American Institute of Public Opinion named after Gallup in 2010-2012.
