Iran is ready to strike US military bases in Persian Gulf

Iran will strike at US military bases in the Persian Gulf if it attempts to attack Iran, the deputy head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, Khoseyni Mogadam, announced on Tuesday. According to Mogadam, Iranians will dig graves for the US soldiers in the province of Khuzistan in south-western Iran, where Iraqi soldiers killed in the Iran-Iraq war of 1980-1988 are buried, Interfax reports.

The declarations of Mogadam were made after a speech by the chairman of the committee of the US Chiefs of Staff Admiral Michael Mullen, who said that Washington has a plan to attack Iran as part of an operation of containment.
