Demonstration in front of Tbilisi town hall

Today at 12:00 pm a massive meeting of street vendors will take place near the administrative building of Tbilisi. It is organized by the opposition parties of the conservatives and the Georgian Peoples Party, reports Trend. 
Yesterday in several districts of Tbilisi street salesman were being evicted by police. The authorities offered to provide them with pitches in marketplaces, but it doesn't seem to suit them. They prefer catching clients before they reach the markets, meaning that the traders in the markets lose out. There are 16,000 official vendors, and 4,000 working in the streets of Tbilisi .
