Iran says Syrian conflict should be resolved peacefully

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdollahijan says the Syrian conflict should be resolved peacefully. The remarks were made during an official conference in Moscow.

"We believe that the conflict should be resolved peacefully. The countries that suggest a military way out do not realise the results of such interference," he said.

"Syria is capable of fighting back in case of a foreign attack. If the United States makes a wrong decision, the international community will be surprised by the real power of the country," he added.
