Russia and Kazakhstan ratify amendments to treaty on friendship and cooperation

Kazakh and Russian Foreign Ministers Yerlan Idrisov and Sergey Lavrov have signed the protocol on exchange of notes on ratification of the treaty on friendship, cooperation and mutual aid, ITAR-TASS reports.

Idrisov said that development of the treaty on good-neighbourhood and alliance of Russia and Kazakhstan in the 21st century was moving to an inter-department stage of development. It will be signed at the 10th Russian-Kazakh Forum for Interregional Cooperation. The document was 95%-ready, Idrisov emphasized.

The Kazakh minister noted the success of the Russian-Kazakh action plan of 2013-2015.
