"Strategy for Maritime Security of the Azerbaijani Republic" approved

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved the "Strategy for Maritime Security of the Azerbaijani Republic."

The main objective of the document is to ensure economic and energy security and, in particular, the protection of the maritime energy infrastructure.

The document stresses that there is a number of threats in the sea that can damage the national interests of Azerbaijan and that the state will do everything to protect itself from them, contact.az reports.
