Twitter and Facebook become available in Iran for few hours
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTwitter and Facebook became available in Iran for a few hours on Monday. They were banned in Iran in 2009 due to mass protests against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Gazeta.ru reports.
Some believed that the websites were unblocked as a concession from President Hassan Rouhani. However, it was later revealed that access to the social networks was granted as a result of a technical error that was fixed in just a few hours.
