Dagestani deputy minister for education and science detained for money theft

The police of Dagestan have detained Idris Musayev, Deputy Minister for Education and Science and ex-head of the Dagestani Institute for Upgrade of Qualification of Pedagogue Staff, as a suspect of stealing over 2 million rubles granted by the regional budget as bonuses for teachers, RIA Novosti reports.

An accountant and a cashier were detained together with the deputy minister.
