Convicts to be pardoned in Abkhazia on September 30

Abkhazia will mark the Independence Day on September 30, 2013, and pardon convicts, Apsnypress reports.

The convicts pardoned include people jailed for up to 5 years, veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1992-1993, invalids of groups 1 and 2, people infected with tuberculosis, women aged over 55 and men aged over 60.

Convicted will be halved for those who spent half of their sentence in jail (maximum of 10), those who became Heroes of Abkhazia, owners of the Leon Order, Medal of Merit, invalids of groups 1 and 2 of the Great Patriotic War.
