Council of People’s Deputies organized in Maikop

Tatyana Larina, chairwoman of the territorial electoral commission, has rounded up the local polling results of the city council, Yuga.ru reports.

The first session of the Council of People’s Deputies will be held at 10.00 on September 24. Only 11 members of the old council were re-elected, 19 became its new members.

A little over 20% of the population of Adygeya voted. There were 15 candidates per each seat at the council. The United Russia Party got 22 out of 30 seats. 13 of them were elected according to party lists and 9 according to single-mandate districts.
