Russian soldier killed in Chechnya

A mine explosion recently killed a Russian soldier in the North Caucasian republic of Chechnya, the press service of the Russian interior ministry reports.

The incident occurred in the Achkhoy-Martanovsky District of Chechnya. Another soldier was badly wounded, RIA Novosti cites the ministry as saying in a statement.
