Promotion of Georgian tourism in Azerbaijan

A major PR campaign for the promotion of Georgian tourism has started in Azerbaijan, the head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration Giorgi Sigua told journalists in Baku on Monday.

"Azerbaijan is the main target market. On September 22 we started a campaign for the promotion of Georgian tourism in Baku, covering all social networks and using media resources, but in future we will expand the geography of our PR campaign to cover the country's provincial areas," Trend quotes Sigua.

According to him, Georgia can offer many memorable experiences.

Sigua said that from the climate point of view, Georgia is unique, because one small area combines several different climate zones.

"The natural environment of Georgia is almost untouched, there are plenty of opportunities to contemplate the magnificent nature and for eco-tourism activities. Wines and local cuisine add another attractive side to a trip to our country," he said.
