Azerbaijan hosts Conference of European National Librarians

Baku is hosting the 27th annual Conference of European National Librarians (CENL), coinciding with the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Library, Trend reports.

Kerim Tairov, Director of the Azerbaijani National Library named after M.F. Akhundov, said that Azerbaijan had been part of the CENL since 2003.

CENL President Bruno Racine noted that the meeting will result in signing of an agreement for cooperation between organizations and libraries. He asserted that almost all libraries had problems with the budget and urged participants of the conference to search for solutions to the problem together.
