Aphrodite’s head found in Turkey

Archeologists of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln found the head of a marble statue of Aphrodite in Turkey, Gazeta.ru reports.

The head is 25cm high. Specialists say that it was made in the 3rd century BC.

Roman tiles covering 148 square meters were found in the area last year.
