The Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after K.M.Berbekov has started giving lessons to circassians who had left Syria. 104 of them entered the university on September 1. Barasbi Karamurzov, President of the university, said that 526 foreigners, 84% of whom were from faraway states from South Korea to the US, had studied at the university.

Karamurzov said that he had informed Russian Minister for Education Dmitry Livanov on August 23 about the initiative to help young people in bad situations. The head of the university believes that letting them study was a form of humanitarian aid.
