Georgia plays key role in energy resources transportation

Georgia is a successful partner and has an important role in the transportation of energy resources, Georgian foreign minister Maya Panjikidze said at the opening of the Caspian Forum in New York.

"Georgia is ready to participate further in the projects helping to supply gas to the European market. This route is essential for the European Union," she said, Trend reports.

"Our partners in Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan will join the project, I hope," Panjikidze added.
