Russia to have its own quality brand

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Yevtukhov said today that the Ministry of Industry plans to set up an NGO to manage the quality mark "Made in Russia".

"Right now we are designing a system of product quality assurance, we select the most promising groups of goods in respect of which this system will work in the first place," ITAR-TASS quotes Yevtukhov.

By the end of 2013 the look and logo of the quality mark will be finalized, and the system itself will be implemented in 2014

First of all, the quality mark will be used with meat and dairy products, and light industry products.
