Georgian interior minister prioritizes integration into NATO

Georgian Interior Minister Irakly Garibashvili said that joining NATO and European integration were the priority goals of Georgia, Trend reports.
He noted that participation in the ISAF mission was essential and that the US was praising Georgia for its efforts. Garibashvili reminded that each country, including Armenia, had its choice.
The minister emphasized that Georgia was a Caucasian state and had important geo-strategic positions. Thus, balanced relations with neighbours were very important, the official said.
