Birgit Hanzl : "We have no worries about inflation"

The World Bank Chief Economist for Russia, Birgit Hanzl, commented on the situation with inflation in Russia: "We see that inflation growth is slowing, and we do not have great concerns about this in the future ... We know that there was speculative discussion on the different approach that should be chosen to monetary policy, which would not be so dependent on inflation, as well as talks about how to loosen monetary policy and contribute to economic growth. But we fully support the action taken by the Central Bank in respect of these speculative discussions," Birgit Hanzl concluded.
