Deputy head of Russian Registry Agency dismissed

Sergey Sapelnikov, deputy head of the Russian Federal Service of State Registration, Land Register and Mapping, has been dismissed by Minister for Economic Development Alexey Ulyukayev.

Sapelnikov has been inspected by the Ministry for Economic Development since August 2013, as a response to checks made the Audit Chamber for 2008-2012. Sepalnikov has been in hospital since September 2.

The official had access to the second secrecy form of documents on July 1 – September 26, had no such access later.

Vadim Andropov and Natalya Filippova have been supervising Sapelnikov’s obligations in the field of information technologies, geodesy and cartography since July.
