Asian Development Bank improves forecast for Azerbaijan

The Asian Development Bank expects Azerbaijan to achieve a GDP growth of 4% in 2013, compared with an earlier forecast of 3.1% in the Asian Development Outlook, Trend reports.

The GDP growth in 2014 is still 4.8%.

The ADB changed expectations for GDP growth in the region from 5.5% to 5.4% due to economic declines in Georgia and Kazakhstan.
