Caspian Sea level may rise after 2020

Ramiz Mamedov, acting Director of the Geography Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, said that the Caspian Sea will rise by 1-2 meters after 2020, Trend reports.

He clarified that the sea level was dropping and had dropped by 15-20cm. Mamedov added that the sea had been stable since 1995.
