Resolution on TAP construction to be passed by end of year

The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) press-secretary has said that a resolution on the construction of the TAP will be adopted before the end of 2013.

"TAP will adopt a resolution on the construction a month before making the final investment decision on the second stage of the Shah Deniz project. This is expected to happen before the end of the current year," Trend quotes the statement of the Press Secretary.

In late June, the consortium to develop Shah Deniz chose TAP as its transportation route for gas supply to European markets. The gas to be produced in the second stage of the field development will be the main source for TAP.
