Libyan police to protect Russian Embassy

The Libyan Interior Ministry has developed an urgent plan to improve the security of the Russian Embassy, RIA Novosti reports.

The Russian Embassy in Tripoli was attacked by a group of extremists on October 2. The incident was a protest following the murder of Colonel Muhammad al-Andalusi as-Susi. Some suspect Yekaterina Ustyujaninova (Russia) of his murder. The Russian Embassy has been evacuated.

Two attackers were killed and two were injured in the attack on the embassy.
