Assad accuses Turkey of supporting terrorist groups

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad says Turkey will pay for supporting terrorist groups in Syria. During an interview with Turkey's Halk TV channel, al-Assad said that no country should be allowed to use international terrorism as a mean of foreign policy.

A similar accusation has already been denied by Turkish Interior Minister Muammer Guler.

Turkey itself is struggling against terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda, the Turkish minister said.
