Oil extraction re-launched at Kazakhstan’s Kashagan Field

Oil extraction at the Kashagan Field (Kazakhstan), which was stopped for reconstruction on September 25, was re-launched on October 6, Kazakh Minister for Oil and Gas Uzakbay Karabalin said, ITAR-TASS reports.

Oil extraction was stopped over leakage of gas on one of the pipelines.
