Adjara plays important consolidating role for Georgia

Georgy Margvelashvili, a candidate for President of Georgia of the Georgian Dream Party, said that Adjara was the most important consolidating region for the country, Trend reports.

He noted that Batumi had great opportunities and could play an important consolidating role together with Adjara. Margvelashvili added that Georgia was a country where Georgians and Ossetians, Orthodox Christians, Muslims and Jews could coexist.

Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili attended the talks with Margvelashvili.
