European Parliament will visit Baku to monitor presidential polls

7 members of the European Parliament will arrive in Baku today to monitor the upcoming presidential polls of Azerbaijan on October 9, RIA Novosti reports.

Pino Arlacchi (Italy) heads the delegation.

The MPs will meet staff of polling stations in Azerbaijan, international organizations, observers, candidates for president, NGOs and political analysts. They will monitor opening of ballot boxes and vote-counting.
