Aliyev sums up results of Azerbaijan's development in first nine months of 2013

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today chaired a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the discussion of the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan in the first 9 months of 2013.

The president called 2013 a success and stressed the high level of macroeconomic indicators, economic growth of 5.4% and growth of the non-oil sector by 10.4 % being the highest indicator in the world. It was also noted that growth of the agrarian sector was 5%, the population's income was 7.6 %, while the inflation rate amounted to 2.3%.

The President noted that, according to the World Economic Forum, Azerbaijan's economy is 39th in the world interns of competitiveness, 1news.az reports.

The president noted that no progress in the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem has been reached so far.
