Reforms aimed at Turkey's future well-being, PM says

The plan of reforms suggested by the Turkish authorities is aimed at the future well-being of the country, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan says.

 

Those who are opposed to the project are not interested in a democratic Turkey, he says.

 

"The country's opposition is promoting dated slogans which contradict common sense," Erdogan is quoted as saying.
