International organizations hail Azerbaijani presidential polls

Georgy Tsereteli, Vice President of the OSCE PA and a member of the Georgian parliament, and Andrey Kolesnikov, a member of the OSCE monitoring mission and a member of the Slovak parliament, reported no violations during the presidential polls in Azerbaijan.


Gabib Kaabachi, head of the OIC monitoring mission, called the elections well-organized and showing good signs of democracy and proper management. He noted the activeness of young voters.


Valery Chechelashvili, GUAM Secretary General, gave a positive rating to the electoral process and said that the GUAM observers were happy with what they had seen.


Ismail Safi, head of the BSEC PA, expressed confidence that the elections were fair, transparent and democratic.
