Muslim Brotherhood outlawed in Egypt

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood has been disbanded. The corresponding order has been signed by Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity Ahmed al-Borai.

The organization was named illegal by a court on September 23. Now all property owned by the Muslim Brotherhood will be confiscated.

The Muslim Brotherhood says the decision was illegitimate and promises to launch a large-scale protest campaign.
