Azerbaijanis love their president – US observer

Stuart Scott, a member of the UN Economic and Social Council and US observer at the Azerbaijani presidential polls, said that the Azerbaijani people love their president. The official expressed hope that President Ilham Aliyev would use the oil resources wisely and eco-friendly.

Scott said he saw no violations in polling stations he had been monitoring. The only flaw he noticed was lack of young voters. He expressed hope that the government would encourage more young people to become active voters via Twitter and Facebook.
