NATO head sees no need for Syria military intervention

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said today that using military force against the Syrian regime would not stop the civil war, RIA Novosti reports.

A month ago, Rasmussen said that plans to use force against Damascus should stay in the agenda as a supplement for diplomatic solutions of the conflict.
