Belarus would recognize Abkhazia and South Ossetia if it weren't for European sanctions, Lukashenko says

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko says his country would have recognized the independence of the Georgian breakaway republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia if Belarus had not been afraid of European sanctions, RIA Novosti reports.
