Armenian-Belarusian science center to open at Lake Sevan

The National Academies of Sciences of Belarus and Armenia, Belarusian State Committee for Science and Technologies, State Committee for Science of the Armenian Ministry for Education and Science have signed an agreement to open an international science center of the biological station studying ecosystems of fresh water at Lake Sevan, News.am reports.

The Armenian-Belarusian commission for science cooperation had its first session in Yerevan on October 14-15. The sides discussed cooperation in mathematics, mechanics, information, physics, astronomy, chemistry, biology, medicine, pharmaceutics, sociology, IT, computing, engineering and agriculture.

They set the order of science contests within the framework of cooperation of the two programs.
