Turkmenistan wants to intensify energy cooperation with OSCE

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov urged the OSCE to activate dialogue, quit politizing energy issues, as well as enforce equal and transparent partnership in forming multi-variant infrastructure of energy supplies.
He praised dialogue between Turkmenistan and the EU in energy and noted the Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline to transfer gas from Turkmenistan to Europe. Berdimuhamedov noted that the Caspian Region was turning into one of the world’s centers for transportation of hydrocarbons. He also called for the protection of bio-diversity of the sea.
