Persons deported from Russia will no longer be able to apply for citizenship

Persons deported from Russia will no longer be able to apply for Russian citizenship. Corresponding amendments to Russia's Citizenship Law were approved today by the State Duma, ITAR-TASS reports.

According to deputy chair of the Duma's committee for constitutional law, Rivzan Kurbanov, the new regulations will reduce the flow of migrants.
