Georgian parliamentary speaker says Margelashvili's opinion on second round of election isn't shared by coalition

The decision of the Georgian presidential candidate from the ruling Georgian Dream coalition, Georgy Margelashvili, to refuse to take part in a second round of elections if one ever takes place is not based on the official position of the coalition, the country's Parliamentary Speaker David Usupashvili says, Georgia Online reports

"I have to say that the coalition have no such plans," he says.

Margelashvili's position is shared by Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili.
