UN Secretary General says international sanctions challenge humanitarian aid to Iran

The international sanctions imposed on Iran aggravate humanitarian aid to the Iranian people, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon says in a report addressed to the UN Security Council.

According to the UN chief, banks are reluctant to transfer money even to those humanitarian organizations which are not affected by the sanctions.
