Russia to open over 80 special centers for migrants
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussia will open 81 centers for migrants, said Constantine Romodanovsky, head of the Russian Federal Migration Service, Kommersant reports.
The centers will meet international standards. They will differ from the Golyanovo camp and have better conditions. Commenting on the recent anti-migrant riots in south Moscow, the official noted that legislators had proposed expansion of authority of the service.
Romodanovsky said that the issue needed discussions with the Interior Ministry, Prosecutor General’s Office and the Investigative Committee. He added that the initiative will need many new professionals.
