Kazakh oil minister to attend World Petroleum Council

Kazakh Minister for Oil and Gas Uzakbay Karabalin will visit Canada to attend the 4th forum of the World Petroleum Council in Calgary (Canada) on October 22-24, said Altay Abubullayev, spokesman of the Kazakh Presidential Service for Central Communications, Trend reports.

Astana bids to host the forum in 2017. Houston, Istanbul and Copenhagen have filed bids to host the forum too. The host will be chosen on October 23.
