Russian chief sanitary inspector resigns

Gennady Onishchenko, head of the Russian Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, has resigned and will be temporarily replaced by his deputy Anna Popova, said Russian Vice Prime Minister Olga Golodets in Beijing, RIA Novosti reports.
