Dmitry Vishernev and Olga Visherneva killed in Sukhumi posthumously awarded Order of Courage

Vice consul Dmitry Vishernevy and his wife Olga killed in Abkhazia were posthumously awarded the Order of Courage today. The corresponding order was signed today by President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

The couple was attacked on September 9 in Sukhumi. The vice -consul died on the spot from gunshot wounds, his wife died five days later in hospital.
