Vladimir Putin: one cannot simply eliminate EurAsEC

At the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk, in response to the proposal made by President Nursultan Nazarbayev to dissolve the EurAsEC as a structure very similar to the Customs Union, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it is not possible in the near future, since it would undermine the legal basis of the Customs Union, RIA Novosti reports.
At the same time, Putin agreed with the initiative of Nazarbayev to include some part of the regulatory framework of the EurAsEC into the regulatory framework of the Customs Union.
