Belarusian president sums up results of CIS summit

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko says the agreements made during the summit of the Commowealth of Independent States (CIS) that has just finished in the Belarusian capital of Minsk are based on mutual interests and are favourable for all member states of the CIS.

 

Among other issues the parties discussed the joint struggle against terrorism and crime and approved a special anti-terror programme for 2014-2016.

 

The assembled officials also discussed joint efforts to combat corruption and IT crimes.
